Building the website around a personal identity
The experience was designed around Ravi Sankar himself rather than treating the website as a generic portfolio.
Oversized typography, a dark visual system and carefully controlled spacing create an immediately recognisable identity while keeping his name at the centre of the experience.
Letting the work command attention
The interface intentionally removes unnecessary visual distractions.
Projects are given generous space to create an editorial presentation where imagery and creative work become the primary focus of the browsing experience.
Creating contrast through minimalism
A predominantly black and white palette establishes the foundation of the website, while selective bright accents introduce personality and guide attention toward important elements.
The result is minimal without feeling generic.
Designing for a global audience
Ravi Sankar is based in India while presenting his work to audiences worldwide.
The website therefore needed to communicate professionally across markets, giving prospective clients a focused destination to understand his creative approach, explore his portfolio and start a conversation.
Making the portfolio responsive
The experience was designed to maintain its visual impact across desktop and mobile screens.
Typography, navigation, project imagery and contact pathways adapt across devices without losing the strong creative character established by the desktop experience.
